Florida State Vs. Gonzaga
Florida State walked into this tournament as the #4 seed and
they earned it, however, there is a problem… Murray State and Vermont! The
Seminoles found their way into this tournament based on a 25-7 season and
that’s formidable, especially considering they play in the ACC. They go head to
head with Virginia, North Carolina, Duke, Virginia Tech, Syracuse, Louisville
and on and on. The ACC is “all that” and more. Do not for one second
underestimate the Seminoles in this game. The Gonzaga Bulldogs have stamped out
another dream season and have blown through their first two games with a huge
win over Fairleigh Dickinson (87-49), however, they did not cover in the
second-round matchup against Baylor. Vegas set the number at -14.5 and it was
too much. It was a good win, it was a solid win but not the cover. Where does
Vegas leave us this week? Gonzaga -7.5.
Gonzaga Covers this one easily
This is the solid pick, but who on this list might be the
sleeper pick. Who is the longshot? This is the Sweet 16 and as all fans know,
we can count on an upset. Who from this list is most likely to get it done.
Purdue Vs. Tennessee
No surprises here, both teams are well capable of pushing
the ball down the court and the way in which Purdue destroyed Villanova gives
pause. This Purdue team could certainly hang with anybody and Tennessee has
come a long way this season. Not only have they come a long way, they have been
near the #1 spot all-season. This game will be a barnburner and go to the wire.
Texas Tech Vs. Michigan
Michigan defense is the glue and they will be too much for
Tech.
Oregon Vs. Virginia
The Ducks are definitely a surprise but not this time. They
have met the end of the road and Virginia is a much better basketball team.
LSU Vs. Michigan State
This is a tough game, nails, if you want to see clamp down,
sit down defense, this is the one. In the end, State will run away late.
Virginia Tech Vs. Duke
Duke had its scare and that’s the end of that. Zion played
like a pro against UCF and he had too. Duke will not back down and will not be
intimidated by Virginia Tech
Houston Vs. Kentucky
These two are gritty and this one will be fantastic from
start to finish. Look for a high scoring game and look for another one that
goes to the buzzer.

THE LONGSHOT
#5 Auburn Vs. North Carolina
Hold on to your seats for this one because you can’t afford
to miss one second of what is for sure to be one of the best games of the
entire tournament. There have been several great ones to this point, but Auburn
is a great team and they come in with a bit of disrespect after thrashing
Kansas in the Big 12 Tournament and then laying the wood to them again in the
NCAA first round.
BASKETBALL
BETTING TIPS-BASKETBALL BETTING ADVICE ONLINE
According to the “big boys” Auburn has a 33.9% chance to win
this game. That’s looney! Look, North Carolina is a good team, a great team,
but so is Auburn. This team has fought, battled and clawed their way through
this past season and this first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament, they will
not lay down and die for Roy, or the NC logo, not a chance. Sure, they are
playing the ‘Bluebloods” but that matters not, what matters is who shows up on
game night and we feel confident that Auburn will push the Heels to the brink
and maybe get the victory.
