NCAA Championship Game - Texas Tech Vs. Virginia
The battle
lines have been drawn, and the 2018-19 college basketball season has one more
to go. Just one more. Villanova, the defending champions, they were ousted what
seem like an eternity ago, Michigan was ousted by these very Texas Tech Red
Raiders for their first ever Final Four, and now, championship game appearance.
Virginia hasn’t seen the light of day since 1984, so this one is special to the
program and special to Texas tech. It’s going to be a battle, it’s going to be
defensive and both teams had better make the most of every offensive
opportunity. This game will come down to possessions and it will most likely
come down to the last possession. Expect a close one, expect a tight one the
entire way. Look for betting options in this one and find a variety of
fantastic prop options.

There is not
one basketball fan on the planet that doesn’t think the Final four deserved a
better ending than what happened in the Auburn Vs. Virginia game. Listen, that
was then, this is now. It matters not who got fouled or who did not get fouled.
What matters is the fact that Virginia is playing for their first championship
in more than 35 years, and Texas Tech is playing for their first ever. This
game is going to be extremely close, but we are leaning towards Texas Tech. The
defensive numbers for this team are slightly better and they have been
all-season, but again, maybe we would all be better served to check out the many
betting options being offered by our favorite online sportsbook.
Proposition
bets can be the way to go and if you haven’t yet checked them out, then do so
quickly. Betting sides is tough in a game such as this one and props allow you
to bet what you want to bet and have fun with very little risk. Of course, we
all want to bet the outcome of this fantastic game but where do we turn?
Possibly live betting is a great option. Live betting is always a great option
because we have the ability to control our own destiny as bettors. Bet the game
before the tipoff, again, we are leaning towards Texas Tech at +1.5 but we are
going to find a live line and bet this game after it settles in. Then we have a
real idea of where the first half is headed.
Does Your Favorite Online Sportsbook Match Your
Betting Style?
Texas Tech is
scoring 70 points per game and holding their opponent to 55 per game. Virginia
is scoring 69 points per game and holding their opponent to 58 per game.
(Through 5 NCAA Tournament games per team)
As much as we
hate the “lucky” word, we feel that Virginia has been hit by a bolt of
lightning and it’s been nothing but luck in the last two games. However, and
it’s a very big however, the Cavaliers put away Purdue in overtime. The Boilers
had their chance and they simply couldn’t capitalize.
Offshore Bookies vs Brick and Mortar, What’s Better?
Texas Tech has
put every opponent out of their misery, including a very good Michigan State
Spartans, as well as holding Michigan to 44, and Gonzaga to 69. Both of these
teams are battle ready and both have proven their worthiness of this
championship game, but in the end, at the end of the day when the proverbial
question is asked “who do we like’ it has to be Texas Tech. This team has not
been one bit lucky, not one iota! They have earned this more than anyone in
recent years. This game will be close so make sure to call your favorite online sportsbook and get the money in.
We love Texas
Tech in a 6 ½ point teaser and over, we love +1.5, but we are certainly checking out the great team prop lines as a backup plan. Have fun with
this one and enjoy what’s sure to be a classic, NCAA Championship Game.
